MY CRUSH HAS LAUNCHED NEW TV NETWORK

First established himself as a rapper before then tried his hand at acting, is now turning Internet entrepreneur. The star, who's regarded as one of the greatest hip hop artists, and his partner DJ Pooh, who's a record producer and screenwriter, are teaming up to launch a new online TV-style network. The project, named UVNTV which stands for U View Network Television, is still in the work and so far features a dozen channels including 's "Snoopadelic", and ones run by The Source and Vibe Magazines. All videos in the new online TV-style network reportedly are shown in a new Microsoft-developed format called Silverlight that promises definition high enough to be played on big screens. Shows can be viewed by time or on demand. "We figured we needed to think about how could we still be part of entertainment in this future that's coming out at full speed," Cube said in a statement. "We didn't just want to be providers of a product. We wanted to be a full-blown network. I think we're going to have programming that's way more interesting than what you can see on your daily television or even YouTube." Just click UVNTV.com for more on the online TV-style network.
